CentOS 6.2 가 벌써 릴리즈 되었네요... 6.1 릴리즈 된지 얼마 되지 않았는데...
이번엔 의외로 엄청 빨리 릴리즈가 되었습니다.

The CentOS team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of CentOS-6.2 for i386 and x86_64 Architectures.

CentOS-6.2 is based on the upstream release EL 6.2 and includes
packages from all variants. All upstream repositories have been combined into one, to make it easier for end users to work with.

There are some important changes to this release compared with the previous
versions of CentOS and we highly recommend reading this announcement
along with the Release Notes.

LiveCDs and LiveDVDs for i386 and x86_64 are also released. These bring in the ability to directly install from the live media.

There is also a minimal install CD that will get you a very small base install that you can add to.

And now: Have fun.

CentOS 6.1 이 드디어 릴리즈 되었다.
upstream 보다 한박자 늦는 릴리즈인데... 뭐... 어차피 Update 내용은 다 포함하고 있을테니...

CentOS 6.1 내용 :

December 9th 2011

The CentOS team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of CentOS-6.1 for i386 and x86_64 Architectures.

CentOS-6.1 is based on the upstream release EL 6.1 and includes
packages from all variants. All upstream repositories have been combined into one, to make it easier for end users to work with.

There are some important changes to this release compared with the previous
versions of CentOS and we highly recommend reading this announcement
along with the Release Notes.

Since upstream has a 6.2 version already released, we will be using a Continuous Release repository for 6.1 to bring all 6.2 and post 6.2 security updates to
all 6.1 users, till such time as CentOS-6.2 is released itself.

조금 늦었지만...^^;;

CentOS 6 Releases 정보 올립니다.

The CentOS team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of CentOS-6.0 for i386 and x86_64 Architectures.

CentOS-6.0 is based on the upstream release EL 6.0 and includes
packages from all variants. All upstream repositories have been combined into one, to make it easier for end users to work with.

There are some important changes to this release compared with the previous versions of CentOS and we highly recommend reading this announcement along with the Release Notes.

There are no CD images being released with CentOS-6, however we have some CD variants in the pipeline.

Since upstream has a 6.1 version already released, we will be using a Continous Release repository for 6.0 to bring all 6.1 and post 6.1 security updates to all 6.0 users, till such time as CentOS-6.1 is released itself.

LiveCDs and LiveDVDs for i386 and x86_64 will be released the
next few days. These will bring in the ability to directly install from the live media.

There will also be a minimal install CD, that would bring up a base
machine with just enough content to have a usable platform.

In order to bring back the CentOS-4 Server CD style single iso image, an LWS variant of the main distro will be created.

추가. 현재 시간 오전 11시 44분에 CentOS 메일링에서 CentOS5.3 릴리즈 메일이 날라왔네요...

CentOS5 맛보기로 살짝 올려 봅니다...^^

VMWare 로 설치 하였으며 커널은 2.6.18-8.el5 가 설치되어 있으며

^^ 아직 많이 사용해 보지 않아서 파폭으로 제 블로그 한번 띄워 봤습니다...

뭐... 더 사용하게 되면 더 좋은 스샷 올리겠습니다.
